You need to apply for the clearance to BCAA before applying for the Paro Dzongkhag/Gewog approval for your construction, if it’s within the airport premises.
What are the documents required for seeking the clearance?
+
You are required to produce the following documents:
- Clearance Application (which should include the land owner’s details, Plot number, Thram number, and the number of storeys you proposed to construct)
- Lag Thram copy
- Citizenship identity card copy
Will I get the construction approval from BCAA once all the above documents are submitted?

For approving any construction, BCAA will survey the construction site as per the flight funnel map developed for the Obstacle limitation surfaces within the airport. If the proposed site is out of the flight funnel map, the construction approval may be granted with the height limitation as per the map.
