Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority Publishes New Paragliding Regulation

The Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority has officially published a new regulation governing paragliding activities in the country. This regulation was endorsed during the second meeting of the BCAA Authority Members, which was convened on March 19, 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Dasho Secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

With the growing popularity of paragliding as an adventure sport and tourism attraction, this regulation aims to enhance safety, protect the environment, and promote responsible adventure tourism.
