Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) Audit for Drukair’s A5-JKW Fleet

The Airworthiness Section of the Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) is set to conduct a Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) audit on Drukair’s Airbus A5-JKW fleet. The audit is scheduled to take place from March 25 to March 27, 2025

The primary objective of this audit is to assess the continued airworthiness and compliance of the aircraft with the regulatory requirements set by BCAA. This process ensures that the aircraft remains in a safe operational condition and adheres to aviation safety standards.

During the audit, BCAA’s Airworthiness Section will conduct a thorough review of various aspects, including but not limited to:

  • Aircraft technical records and maintenance history
  • Compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs)
  • Aircraft physical inspection and verification of airworthiness status
  • Maintenance program adherence and implementation
  • Operational and safety compliance measures
